Playing Monk
Monk is a Dexterity-based martial class with staff attacks, spirits and mobile melee abilities. Its rune sets point toward distinct basic-attack, strong-attack and special-ability approaches.
- Basic, strong and special attack build paths
- Spirit Twin and Sacred Orbs synergies
- Furious Fist and Piercing Lunge set directions
A practical build starting point
- Start with Threefold Strike and Sacred Judgment. Sacred Orbs unlocks at level 10.
- At level 15, compare Furious Fist with your current basic attack. Hundred Hands is the rune-set direction associated with it.
- Spirit Twin arrives at level 30. Test its contribution over a full run, then choose equipment that supports the same attack family.
Every skill unlock
Use the level requirement to plan your next change. Basic attacks, strong attacks and specials serve different roles in the combat loop.

Rune-set directions
- Hundred Hands
- Wheel of Nine Heavens
- Serpent's Tongue
Read each set’s thresholds alongside your equipped attacks. Test a complete rotation and its mana use before trading away the survivability of a working setup.
Make the build work unattended
Compare the same zone with similar run lengths. Track the whole session, including deaths and returns to town, so a short burst of damage does not hide a weaker farming loop.
