Unlock the Expedition Camp
The Expedition Camp is a life-skill upgrade costing 750 gold. It enables offline progression. Without that unlock, closing the game is not the same as sending a character on a rewarding expedition.
The minimum offline period is one minute. Rewards are collected on the next return to town, so check there before concluding that nothing was earned.

Plan around the reward cap
The base offline cap is eight hours. Expedition Camp upgrades can extend it to sixteen hours. Staying away beyond the current cap does not make the counted period longer.
Online-mode rewards are handled by the server, while Singleplayer calculates offline progression locally. These game modes are separate from whether the application is open or closed.
A simple return routine
- Return to town and collect the expedition rewards.
- Review the camp upgrade and your current time cap.
- Use active sessions for items and materials that expeditions do not award.
- If rewards look wrong, record the character mode, offline duration and game version before reporting the issue.
