Deskrawl: Idle ARPG gameplay screenshot

Watch one complete run before walking away

Begin with a zone you can clear repeatedly. Watch several packs, a difficult enemy and the return to town if it occurs. A damage spike during the first fight says little about a setup that runs out of mana or potion charges later.

Open the combat panel with C and review automatic potion settings. If deaths cluster after charges are exhausted, investigate the length of the run and incoming damage before spending everything on offensive upgrades.

Keep the comparison fair

Run setup A and setup B in the same zone for comparable durations. Record net XP and gold gained during the whole session, including time lost to deaths and interruptions. Do not remove downtime from one run while leaving it in the other.

The comparator normalizes the recorded totals to an hourly rate. It does not simulate enemy armor, damage formulas or random drops. A higher hourly estimate from a tiny sample deserves a longer follow-up test.

AFK and offline rewards are different

Leaving combat running uses your live combat setup. Closing the game uses the Expedition Camp reward system once it is unlocked. Offline rewards are XP and gold; they do not replace active item or material farming.
