Reins unlock companions permanently
Each rein corresponds to a minion. Use it to add the companion to your collection, then manage your collection from the minion panel (J). Many reins come from their associated enemies; some minions use other routes such as merchants or fishing. Check the particular item before committing to a farm.
You can have one active minion. Summoning is available in town or at the training grounds. Companions carry loot and offer passive effects or abilities, so their value extends beyond the appearance of the follower.
Pick the effect that solves your current problem
- Survival: max HP, healing, armor or reduced incoming damage can help a run finish.
- Mana: mana regeneration, restoration or lower costs can keep your skills cycling.
- Damage: match the bonus to your damage type or the condition you can actually apply.
- Gold: compare the bonus against the speed and reliability of your current companion.
Read conditional bonuses carefully
Damage against slowed, stunned, vulnerable or bleeding enemies needs that condition to be active. It is not the same as an unconditional damage increase. Similarly, a bonus to a strong attack does not describe every attack in the rotation.
The finder lists 15 legendary reins with descriptions from their Steam item listings. It is a focused reference, not the full minion roster. The owned and wishlist controls are your own local checklist, not a connection to your Steam inventory.
Using the Steam Market as a reference
A market listing can confirm the item name and its displayed effects. Availability and prices change, so the finder links directly to the item rather than presenting a fixed price. A tradable listing alone does not establish the best in-game farming location.
