Start with the actual skill and set

Rapid Fire unlocks at Hunter level 35. Deadeye’s Resolve is the related physical-attack rune set: two pieces provide 50% physical damage, four reduce Rapid Fire channel time by 25%, and six allow it to pierce three targets.

These thresholds are a build direction, not a promise of the strongest result with every collection of items. Check the stats lost when replacing existing pieces, and test each threshold in the content you farm.

Keep the rotation running

Watch mana across several packs. If the attack loop stalls, compare a mana-supporting minion before assuming more damage will fix the problem. Flying Fish King reduces mana costs and has a mana regeneration ability; Venom Queen periodically restores a percentage of maximum mana.

Survival is a separate check. Automatic potions, defensive equipment and a lower farming zone can make the run more productive even when the theoretical damage setup looks weaker.

When a poison enemy stops your progress

A poison-related failure is a reason to inspect incoming damage, potion timing and deaths, not proof that the class cannot handle the encounter. Venom Queen’s listed poison-damage reduction is relevant only when poison is the damage causing the problem.

Try one change, run the same encounter, and record the outcome. Do not change your weapon, minion, skills and zone simultaneously if you want to identify what worked.

Match names before copying an older build

Older community guides can use different English names for the same-looking abilities or gear. This guide follows the current reference names Rapid Fire, Deadeye’s Resolve and Phantom Form. Use the game tooltip and level requirement to resolve a mismatch.
