Choose a playstyle first
| Class | Attribute | A good reason to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior | Strength | Melee attacks, Whirlwind and defensive shouts. |
| Sorcerer | Intelligence | Elemental spell paths with fire, frost and lightning. |
| Hunter | Dexterity | Ranged attacks, poison, traps and Rapid Fire. |
| Monk | Dexterity | Martial attacks with spirit and Sacred Orbs paths. |
The best choice depends on your run
A class comparison is most useful when it describes what you will build around. Early skill access, mana sustain, equipment and the enemy you are fighting all change the outcome. A class that clears quickly in an active session may need a different setup when left unattended.
Warrior is a natural choice if you prefer a close-range weapon fantasy. Hunter suits players who want ranged weapons with poison or trap options. Sorcerer offers the clearest elemental branches, while Monk offers several martial and spirit combinations. These are playstyle recommendations, not a measured damage ranking.
Compare builds at the same stage
- Use the same zone and similar equipment quality.
- Keep the test duration long enough to include potion use and several enemy packs.
- Track XP per hour together with deaths and interruptions.
- Do not compare a complete rune set with an unrelated collection of leveling items.
